1. These terms
By using this website you accept these terms. Afia Advisory operates it.
2. What this website is
An information site about our corporate wellbeing consulting services, including a free self-assessment. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, and using it does not create a client relationship. A relationship begins only when we both sign a written engagement agreement.
3. The self-assessment what it is and is not
- It is not a clinical, medical or psychological assessment, and it does not diagnose anything about any individual.
- It is not an audit, and the score it produces is not the Afia Index. That is produced only from a measured engagement.
- It is not benchmarked against other organisations. We hold no benchmark dataset and we do not claim one.
- It is not a prediction of any outcome, and it does not constitute professional advice.
- Any sample scorecard shown on this site uses synthetic data. It is not a client result.
4. Not clinical care
Afia Advisory does not diagnose, treat or provide therapy, and holds no UAE healthcare licence. Our founder’s certification is a professional qualification in workplace wellbeing programme design, not a medical or psychological licence. Where an individual needs medical or psychological support we refer to a licensed practitioner. Nothing on this site should be treated as medical advice or relied on in place of it.
5. What we do not promise
We make no claim about any effect on your insurance premium. We publish no client results or case studies, and any figure shown is illustrative and labelled as such. We do not guarantee any outcome from an engagement.
6. Using the site properly
- Do not submit anyone else’s personal data through our forms, and do not submit health information about any individual.
- Do not submit anything false, unlawful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape the site, or interfere with it.
7. Our content
The content of this site, including the seven pillar framework, the assessment questions, the scoring method and the Afia Index, belongs to us or our licensors. You may read and print it for your own internal use. You may not reproduce it, adapt it, or use it commercially without our written permission.
8. Third-party links
Where we link elsewhere we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
9. Liability
We provide this site and the self-assessment as they are, without warranty. To the fullest extent UAE law permits, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site or from anything you do or do not do on the basis of a self-assessment result. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
