1. Who we are
Afia Advisory is a corporate wellbeing consultancy and a part of QK Wellness Labs L.L.C-FZ, License Number 2645846, with its registered office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy we are called Afia Advisory, we, or us. For questions about this policy or about data we hold, contact info@afiaadvisory.com or +971 56 662 3050.
2. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to three groups, and different parts apply to each: people who contact us through this website or take the self-assessment; employees of our client organisations who complete a wellbeing survey, interview or focus group; and representatives of client and prospective client organisations.
3. If you use this website
When you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, work email address, company name, approximate headcount and whatever you write in the message field. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence.
The self-assessment runs entirely in your own browser. While you answer, nothing is sent to us and nothing is stored. If you do not contact us afterwards, we never know that you took it. If you do send an enquiry, your twelve answers and your score are attached to that enquiry so that we can reply usefully. The self-assessment asks about your organisation, not about you personally, and it does not collect health information.
We ask you not to include employee names or any health information in the enquiry form. If you do, we will delete it.
4. If you are an employee of one of our clients
Read this part carefully, because it describes promises we make to you rather than to your employer.
What we collect. Your answers to the wellbeing survey, which include questions about sleep, pressure at work, ability to cope, financial worry, isolation and whether your current way of working is sustainable. We also collect your department, how long you have worked there, and whether your role is individual contributor, team lead, manager or senior leadership. If you take part in an interview or focus group we record notes. We do not ask for your name, employee number, email address or IP address, and we do not ask for anything that identifies you individually.
What your employer sees.
- Your employer never sees your individual answers. Not your manager, not the HR team, not the owner.
- We report grouped scores and themes only.
- We do not report any group of fewer than five responses separately, so nobody can be identified by elimination.
- Written comments are anonymised before use. If a comment cannot be made anonymous, we do not use it.
- Nothing you tell us is used to manage, appraise or discipline anyone. This is agreed in writing with your employer before the survey opens.
Why we are allowed to hold it. We rely on your consent, which you give by choosing to complete the survey. Taking part is voluntary and you may stop at any point. Because some of these questions concern your health, we treat all of it as sensitive personal data and apply the protections in section 7.
Who holds it. Afia Advisory holds this data as controller. Your employer does not hold it and cannot require us to hand it over in identifiable form. That is the point of bringing in an independent third party, and it is written into our contract with them.
5. How long we keep things

6. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored securely using reliable infrastructure and appropriate security measures. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
7. How we protect it
- Access is limited to those who need it to do the work.
- Survey data is separated from any information that identifies a client’s staff.
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Anyone working with us on an engagement is bound in writing by the same confidentiality terms.
- We keep a record of what we hold, where it sits, and who has accessed it.
8. Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with service providers who host or process it on our behalf under a written agreement, and where we are required to by law or by a competent UAE authority. If we are ever legally compelled to disclose employee responses, we will tell the affected people unless we are prohibited from doing so.
9. Your rights
Under applicable UAE data protection law you may ask us to confirm what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. Where we rely on your consent you may withdraw it at any time.
Because survey responses are collected without any identifier, we are usually unable to locate an individual response after submission. If you want your response removed, contact us before the survey closes and tell us enough to identify it. We will explain honestly whether we can.

10. Cookies
This website currently uses no analytics and no third-party tracking scripts.
11. Changes
We will post any change on this page with a new date. If a change materially affects people whose survey data we hold, we will tell the client organisation and ask them to inform their staff.
